It is in this iconic structure where students seek their sanctum for a place to study. The Vishveshvarrya Karandak, a state level debate competition is held inside this heritage building. One can imagine the feeling when you get to express your views in front of a crowd in this amazing building with a rich cultural heritage.
Our own ‘Broadway theatre’..! This auditorium is a great platform to showcase your skills. It is a second home for the cultural team which has won the prestigious purushottam mahakarandak as well as firodiya karandak and many other competitions. It has given the film industry stalwarts like Vaibhav Tattwawadi and Atul Kulkarni.
Drops like pearls pelting down, swelling up of the Mula river makes you feel like you are in the lap of nature. Watching the gentle flow of river, the boats flowing merrily on riverfront and dazzling beams of sunlight reflected from surface of water gives you paradise bliss.
The green backdrop and a cup of coffee make it a great ‘Katta’.!
Endless nights spent slogging it out on drafters and imperial sheets.! A drawing hall which resides in memories of every mechanical engineering student. Be it machine design sheets or projects; this drawing hall is an irremovable part of every mechanical engineering student here.
For the past 88 years, the COEP Boat Club has maintained its status as both a relic of a rich legacy, and as a respected cornerstone of the institution. And the kayaks of the Boat Club represent the essence of the values most cherished by us COEPians; perseverance, passion and discipline.
If you are/were part of our college I am sure you must have related to all the snaps above! I urge all the folks of COEP to share this article all over your network. Let’s show them how awesome our campus is!
