The COEP Technological University is gearing up for the 97th edition of its historic Regatta in association with Vilas Javdekar Developers, set to take place on March 16, 2025, recognized by the Limca Book of Records as India’s Oldest College Festival, this grand event showcases the spirit, strength, and passion of COEP students as they take on the waters of the Mula River.
Regatta is not just about boat races—it’s a celebration of teamwork, endurance, and tradition. Every year, COEPians dedicate months towards perfecting their performances, ensuring that each edition is bigger and better than before.
This year’s theme, “Sailing Beyond Horizons”, represents breaking barriers and setting sail toward new dreams. Just as a sailor dares to explore unknown waters, COEP students continuously push beyond their limits, striving for excellence in every field.
With a strong legacy of perseverance and achievement, this theme perfectly captures the essence of Regatta—going beyond what seems impossible and reaching for new heights.
The 97th Regatta will feature some of the most spectacular water performances, including:
Kayak Ballet – A mesmerizing display of coordination, where kayakers move in perfect harmony on the river.
Shell Games – A test of speed and teamwork as COEP rowers navigate their sleek boats with expert precision.
