When was the last time you wrote a letter?
Not an email. A letter.
Agreed we’re all trying to do our bit for the earth by ‘going paperless’. But don’t you  ever wish that maybe someone would write you a letter? Have you ever not wished to receive something other than bills in your letter box?
It could be about anything; a letter bringing good news, heck even a love letter maybe! Or maybe just someone saying ‘Hi’.
But why would you wait for so long for your hi or love to reach the recipient?
That is exactly where the trouble lies. Everything in our lives needs to super fast, because we have so many (apparently) more important items to cross off our to-do lists.
Like William Henry Davies rightly pointed out –
What is this life if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.
This World Post Day, lets forget our maniac to-do lists for a minute. Get out some paper and a pen, sit down and write a letter.
Trust me, it will be worth it. And what could be better than bringing a smile to someone’s face?
