Vishwakarma Institute Of Technology Presents VIT Mélange 2016 | 8th – 13th February

Melange is the annual inter-college interdisciplinary fest of VIT Pune. Mélange is a French word that means mixed. And much true to its name, Mélange has a plethora of events under its wing, pertaining to Technical, Extra-curricular, Social and Sports fields.

It’s a grand week long fest with participants from various college from Pune and almost all major cities of Maharashtra. Top Participating colleges include IIT-B, COEP, VNIT, Symbiosis, etc.

This year Melange will take place from 8th February to 13th February. The fest also includes a musical concert by the eminent Bollywood singer Amit Trivedi along with with Neeti Mohan & Divya Kumar on 13th Feb ’16. Certain Sports event such as cricket, football etc commence from 4th February itself.

Amit Trivedi’s Live in Concert at Dudhane Lawns, Karve Nagar, Pune.

Amit Trivedi is a lead Bollywood music composer, musician, lyricist and singer. His collection includes songs from Dev D, Wake Up Sid, Udaan, Aisha, No One Killed Jessica, and many more. He is also famous for his performances in Coke Studio. He will also be accompanied by Neeti Mohan and Divya Kumar.

2) Footloose –

The Dance Competition comprising of three categories:  Solo, Duet, Group.

3) V – Rock –

A rock band competition!

4) Tech Gridion-

A group of the mega – scale technical events comprising of Robo-Wars, IC engine RC Car Races, RoboRun etc.
