Existential dread, lack of motivation, dearth of ideas, or just a plain terrible day. These are situations all of us have been in. A one-stop inventory of talks that will surely bring you out of that mindset are Ted talks. We couldn’t agree more with their tagline. The talks are most definitely “ideas worth spreading.”
Ted continued to be so amazing for the curious mind, that people across the world wanted to attend the event and hear to inspiring people talk locally. Thus was born Tedx where ‘x’ stands for “independently organized TED event.”
Moreover, if you resonate with everything that is said above, there’s good news for you. Zeal Education Society is organizing TEDxZIMCA, a Ted-like experience event on the 3rd of February.
The theme of TEDxZIMCA is Debunk-Unveiling The Truth. In times where misinformation and misinterpretation has become the norm, it necessary for a grand-scale unveiling of the truth. In the words of Monica Sadubattula, the curator of the event, “The truth about everything in this world impacts our daily work lives in many ways. The difference between the winners and losers is that the winners know, understand and utilize the truth of their work which the losers may not even know. In order to bridge the gap, a system or platform where people can come and share the truth about different subjects and work is a necessity.”
