The Symbiosis Institute of Operations Management (SIOM), Nashik, successfully hosted the 17th edition of its flagship HR Summit – Nashik Chapter on 1st and 2nd August 2025, under the theme “Aurora: Enlighten | Empower | Evolve.” The two-day conclave brought together distinguished HR professionals, industry leaders, and thought leaders to explore the evolving role of HR in shaping agile, inclusive, and future-ready organizations.
The event commenced with a ceremonial inauguration and a welcome address by Dr. Vandana Sonwaney, Director of SIOM. Day 1 featured a compelling keynote by Mr. Shiv Rawat on “Auraflux,” followed by the interactive “Aurowake” quiz and the “Silent Supernova” panel, which spotlighted empathetic leadership and organizational resilience.
The day concluded with Mr. Binny Immanuel Dawson’s forward-looking keynote on global hiring trends. Day 2 opened with an address by Dr. Yashomandira Kharde, setting the tone for sessions that included Mr. Anshuman Ray’s keynote on career adaptability and Mr. Lalit Bub’s perspective on Nashik’s industrial growth. Panel discussions like “Twilight of Tenure” and “Retention Riddle” delved into career transitions and modern employee retention strategies, while sessions by Mr. Sunil Narsinghani and Mr. Pankaj Ailawadi emphasized data-driven, empathetic hiring and inclusive workplace culture.
The summit concluded with an inspiring keynote by Dr. Varadharaju Janardhanan on building high-trust, agile organizational cultures, followed by closing remarks from Convenor Mr. Shashank Raina, who reflected on the spirit of Aurora and invited participants to the next summit chapter in Delhi on 20th August 2025.
