Engineering for Women, Pune will host Empulse 2026 – Odyssey of the Unbound, featuring six innovative competitions, mentorship, and networking opportunities.
Building on the success of previous editions, this year’s summit is expected to attract 1500+ participants from across the region, creating a vibrant hub for budding entrepreneurs.
And for the first time, the Startup Showcase is open to everyone, not just students but welcoming founders, innovators, aspiring entrepreneurs, and even those who simply enjoy exhibitions and exploring products.

Business Hackathon: The Venture Voyage
Business Hackathon is a multi-round challenge that tests strategy, intellect, and teamwork under pressure. Starting with riddles and logic puzzles, followed by a surprise round to gauge spontaneity, the event culminates in the On-Ground Innovation Challenge, where teams turn ideas into real-world solutions. Open to all students in teams of 4–5, it encourages collaboration across diverse skills.

Sparkulate: The Ultimate Business Hackathon
Empulse 2025 was a grand success, bringing together 86 students from 22 teams across Pune. The event fostered innovation, collaboration, and entrepreneurial spirit, leaving a lasting impact on aspiring engineers and business enthusiasts.
Investify: The Ultimate Entrepreneurial Challenge
Investify is a hands-on entrepreneurial challenge where student teams of 2–3 transform ₹100 seed capital into maximum profit within 60 hours. Open to all colleges and specializations, the event pushes participants to strategize, innovate, and execute real-world business ideas. Teams retain 70% of their profits, with top performers winning prizes worth ₹8000 plus goodies. All participants receive certificates, celebrating their entrepreneurial spirit.
Investify at Empulse 2025 was a huge success, with 18 teams competing and the winners turning ₹100 seed capital into a record profit of ₹4615 within 48 hours.

Bollywood Pitching: Pitch like a Star
Bollywood Pitching blends entrepreneurship with Bollywood flair, as teams pitch startup ideas while embodying iconic characters. Open to teams of 2–4 students, the event hosts around 30 teams across two thrilling rounds: a creative teaser and a 6–7 minute live stage pitch testing spontaneity and storytelling. With prizes, certificates, and plenty of drama, it’s a one-of-a-kind platform to showcase innovation through performance
Table Talks: Startup Edition
Table Talks is a dynamic mentorship event where students engage in fast-paced, rotational discussions with experienced mentors across domains like scaling, funding, and market strategy. Open to individual participants, it fosters critical thinking, adaptability, and real-world entrepreneurial insight.
Through diverse perspectives and interactive learning, students refine their understanding of the startup ecosystem. The experience concludes with an engaging activity, with standout participants recognized for their performance
Sift Through Wreckage: From Ruin to Revenue
Sift Through Wreckage challenges teams to revive failed startups into viable ventures. Open to 4–5 members per team, the event unfolds across three exciting rounds: an idea pivot, a live auction-based resource allocation, and a final pitch testing adaptability and strategy. With a prize pool of ₹11,000 and certificates for all, it’s a dynamic simulation of real-world entrepreneurship and decision-making
