Colloquium 2026: Insights from National Dignitaries
This year’s pre-event momentum is strengthened by Colloquium, VIT Pune MUN’s digital dignitary publication, which brings forward insightful perspectives from prominent national figures.
The edition features Rana Banerji, former Special Secretary at the Research and Analysis Win (R&AW), offering clarity on the functioning of intelligence mechanisms and the role of strategic assessment in shaping diplomatic responses.
Also included is Lieutenant General (Dr.) Madhuri Kanitkar, whose distinguished career in military medicine and defence administration highlights the growing importance of global health diplomacy in shaping contemporary international cooperation.

Leadership Team Driving VIT Pune MUN 2026
Adding a deeper dimension to this year’s event is the leadership team guiding VIT Pune MUN 2025. The conference is led by Mr. Shivam Sanap, Secretary-General, whose strategic oversight shapes the event’s direction; Mr. Aryan Kakade, Director-General, responsible for operational execution; Ms.
Rutuja Chaudhari, Deputy Secretary-General, supporting coordination and policy alignment and Ms. Pallak Gupta, Deputy Director-General, ensuring smooth committee functioning and organisational balance.
The team works under the mentorship of Mr. Soham Joshi, Honorary Secretary-General, whose experience has contributed significantly to the development of the conference framework, along with the guidance of Faculty Advisor Dr. Shailaja Uke and the support of Dr. Kaushalya Thopate, Student Activities Vertical In-charge.
