SIDTM Pune Organises Intellectica 2026
Symbiosis Institute of Digital and Telecom Management (SIDTM), Pune’s Research and Publication Committee (RPC) is all set to organize a moderated discussion forum in the style of an MUN. The event will be held at SIDTM Convention Centre and will be attended by students of different colleges.
The event aims to promote problem-solving, teamwork, and critical thinking through a framework of guided but dynamic discussions that follow the model of the United Nations, allowing participants to engage in the discussions and deliberate with their peers. The contest has been structured as a three-step event. It started with an online aptitude test hosted on Unstop. The second round of solution submissions was held, during which competitors were tested in terms of research and policy formulation.
Throughout the event, delegates will engage in in-depth deliberations on critical focus areas, including the balance between national data sovereignty and global interoperability, ethical frameworks for data ownership and informed consent, transparency and accountability of cloud service providers, and safeguarding individual privacy while enabling technological innovation. The conference will feature structured unmoderated caucuses, resolution drafting, policy presentations, and voting procedures, closely simulating real-world international policy-making processes.
More than a platform for debate, Intellectica 2026 aims to foster leadership, collaboration, and critical thinking by encouraging participants to propose ethical, secure, and inclusive data governance solutions that promote a culture of trust. The event empowers students to contribute meaningful ideas toward building a fair and resilient digital ecosystem in an increasingly interconnected world.
Intellectica 2026 stands as a pioneering initiative by SIDTM, reinforcing its commitment to informed discourse and responsible innovation in global technological governance.
