The countdown has begun for Sangram 2025, IIT Roorkee’s flagship annual sports fest, set to take over the campus from September 19 to 21, 2025. Known for its electrifying atmosphere and intense competition, Sangram is all geared up to host over 1,500 athletes from IITs, NITs, BITs, GFTIs, and premier colleges across India, bringing with them an unstoppable spirit of sportsmanship.
With a lineup of 20+ sports events, Sangram 2025 promises something for every sports enthusiast. From football, basketball, volleyball, and cricket to individual competitions like badminton, chess, table tennis, and swimming, the fest celebrates talent across every arena. New-age favorites like e-sports and high energy events such as taekwondo and bodybuilding ensure that there’s no shortage of adrenaline throughout the three days.
The big buzz this year? Tennis Ball Cricket is making its debut in Sangram, bringing high speed action, thrilling chases, and a whole new level of excitement to the field.

Also this year, Sangram goes a step further by embracing indigenous and community-favorite games such as kho kho, billiards, carrom, tug of war, and 7-a-side hockey, adding a nostalgic yet competitive edge to the fest.
