On 15 October 2025, the Convention Centre at SIBM Pune transformed into a hub of vision, innovation, and purpose as The Grand Pitch Season 4 unfolded under the theme “Kalpavriksha: A Promise of Prosperity.” Organized by the E-Cell, this flagship event brought together eleven pioneering startups and nine distinguished investors, each brought together by the belief that entrepreneurship is not just about disruption but about building solutions that matter.
The Grand Pitch lived up to its legacy, recording ₹17.6 crores in investment interest and funding for eight startups, truly a reflection of the bold ideas and relentless drive that define SIBM Pune’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.

The occasion was honoured by the august presence of Prof. Dr. S. B. Mujumdar Sir, Founder and President of the Symbiosis Society and Chancellor of Symbiosis International University, whose dedication to education and humanity continues to inspire educators, entrepreneurs, and visionaries everywhere.
His words carried deep inspiration, reminding everyone that entrepreneurship, much like education, is an act of purpose and service to humanity. Prof. Dr. Mujumdar Sir’s legacy of nurturing global citizens continues to inspire generations of innovators who aim to blend intellect with empathy and business with impact.
The Grand Pitch Season 4 saw the participation of nine esteemed investors who brought unparalleled experience and perspective to the event. The first among them was Mr. Yogesh Thite, Founder of Meticulous B-Plans, Entie, and Entie Angels. With over a decade of experience in the startup ecosystem, Mr. Thite has been instrumental in nurturing entrepreneurial growth across India. He currently leads Entie Angels, a network of more than 200 investors backing 15 promising startups nationwide. His insights and presence set the perfect tone for the evening.
He was followed by Mr. Yash Sanghavi, Founder of Yanisa Execution, India’s first AI Acceleration and Growth-as-a-Service company. An accomplished SIBM Pune alumnus, Mr. Sanghavi’s investments include ventures such as 50Fin, ab. coffee, BREATHE ESG, BugBase, and Arthum, among others. His journey from student to investor embodies the spirit of The Grand Pitch, where education, innovation, and mentorship converge.
Adding further depth to the panel was Mr. Sanvar Oberoi, Partner at Ikigai Capital and Founder of Succession Capital Partners India. A Stanford graduate and Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia honoree, Mr. Oberoi has significantly influenced India’s investment landscape through his work in private equity and venture capital. His presence brought a global perspective to the event, bridging the worlds of finance, strategy, and impact investing.
The panel also featured Mr. Rohan Bajaj, Angel Investor and Founder of Bajaj VC, whose past investments include Garuda Aerospace, Zypp Electric, Oben, Rooter, and Mugafi. With experience spanning across the Indian and global startup ecosystem, Mr. Bajaj’s active engagement and strategic approach to early-stage funding made him one of the most sought-after mentors at the event.
Next, the audience welcomed Mr. Rahul Jain, Founder of Pune Angels Network and Managing Director of InnoServ Group. A key figure in Pune’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, Mr. Jain has helped build one of the city’s most active startup networks. His past investments include ORAI, iSkillBox, LarkAI, Gladful, and Flutrr, reflecting his belief in scalable ideas with real-world impact.
Adding financial acumen and depth to the panel was Mr. Chandrashekhar Kupperi, Founder of ANOVA Corporate Services and General Partner at the Peaceful Progress Fund (CAT-I AIF). A veteran in finance and mergers and acquisitions, Mr. Kupperi’s portfolio spans ventures such as Uravu Labs, Bioveda Agro, Supply6, Neopop, and CargoF. His ability to identify sustainable and forward-thinking ventures brought a crucial dimension to the evening’s discussions.
Representing one of India’s largest angel networks, Mr. Brendon Faroz, Regional Manager (West) at IAN Group, joined the investor panel. Having played a key role in sourcing and evaluating early-stage investments across multiple sectors, Mr. Faroz has been associated with successful ventures including Spinny, Wow Momo, Zypp Electric, Dhruva Space, and WebEngage. His participation underscored the increasing strength of India’s angel investment ecosystem.
For the first time in the history of The Grand Pitch, female investors joined the panel, marking a new chapter of inclusivity and representation. Among them was Ms. Brinda Kotak, Angel Investor and Founder of PanchKosha Wellbeing, a neuroscience-driven platform integrating AI for personalized wellness. With extensive experience across Mumbai Angels, Pune Angels, and A2D Ventures, Ms. Kotak has evaluated over 200 startups and built ventures such as MyndFyre and Motion Matters. Her commitment to advancing mental health and well-being through technology resonated deeply with the audience.
The final investor on the panel was Ms. Sayali Pawar, Venture Capitalist for Investments and Partnerships at Aram Partners. Ms. Pawar’s experience lies in identifying high-potential ventures, nurturing founder relationships, and driving innovation across diverse industries Her collaborative and strategic approach to investing perfectly reflected the spirit of The Grand Pitch Season 4
With such a diverse and accomplished panel of investors, the stage was perfectly set for the founders to present their ideas. Each of the eleven startups brought a distinct story of ambition, resilience, and innovation to the stage. The diversity of ideas reflected India’s growing entrepreneurial dynamism, ranging from sustainable manufacturing and healthcare innovation to education, technology, and wellness.
Helplast Bioplastics Pvt. Ltd. showcased the promise of biodegradable materials as the future of responsible packaging, while Kyron Healthcare presented a life-saving neonatal technology that merged science with empathy. Paushtikk Switch redefined healthy eating through personalized, sustainable meal solutions, and Calmunity’s pitch on accessible mental wellness platforms underscored the growing importance of emotional well-being in the digital age.
Equally inspiring were the innovations of Sentient Engines, pioneering sustainable energy generation through on-demand hydrogen and nitrogen systems, and No Filter by Fudge Grudge, whose preservative-free juices embodied authenticity and integrity in consumer products. Air Guruji International blended AI, IoT, robotics, and drone learning to reimagine classrooms as spaces of creation, while ClarifiEd concluded the sequence with an education platform that celebrated holistic growth beyond grades. Together, these ventures reflected a new generation of founders who balance vision with responsibility, reaffirming that entrepreneurship at SIBM Pune is driven not only by ambition but by impact.
The Essence of The Kalpavriksha
As the evening drew to a close, the hall echoed with applause, celebration, and a shared sense of achievement. Investors found conviction in ideas that promised impact, and founders found the validation to keep building. Under the canopy of the Kalpavriksha, The Grand Pitch Season 4 once again proved that prosperity is not merely measured in investments, but in ideas that take root and grow.
