Pune: The Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth (TMV) organised Vision & Voices 4.0 on October 7, 2026, under the theme ‘Finding Your Inner Voice’.
The inter-collegiate cultural festival brought together participants from colleges and universities across Pune, celebrating creativity, artistic expression and performance.
Held at the open-air four-wheeler parking area of TMV, the event attracted an estimated 4,500 to 5,000 visitors throughout the day.
The festival featured two sections, Vision and Voices, offering participants different platforms to express their creativity.
The Vision section showcased photography, painting and digital art, with selected artworks displayed in a gallery at the venue. The Voices section featured singing, dance, poetry, monologues and one-act plays, giving participants an opportunity to present their talent before an audience.
Dance was one of the new categories introduced this year and received a good response, adding to the range of performances at the festival. The inclusion of the category brought more energy to the stage and expanded the opportunities for participants to showcase their skills.
A flea market featuring food stalls, desserts, handmade jewellery, mehendi and quick salon services added to the festive atmosphere, attracting visitors beyond the competition spaces.
Another highlight was the live performance by student band Bleeding Souls, which energised the audience in the late afternoon ahead of the closing ceremony and prize distribution.
