Rannbhoomi 2026 : The grand inter-collegiate sports festival “Rannbhoomi 2026” organized at IIEBM – Indus Business School, Pune concluded successfully with enthusiasm. The competition witnessed a great blend of sportsmanship, strategy and determination.

This three-day sports festival organized by IIEBM – Indus Business School received special support from KTM, Triumph (B. U. Bhandari) and Satyam Corporate Caterers. A total of 24 sponsors supported the competition.

Cultural Inspiration and Theme
The glorious tradition of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and the history of forts built and conquered by the Marathas were celebrated during Rannbhoomi.
This initiative was an attempt to pay homage to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and carry forward his tradition. The message was given to preserve this tradition by practicing strength, skill and strategy through sports.

On this occasion, Managing Director Dr. Jai Singh Marwaha, Dean Dr. Poonam Nikam, Director Administration Col Ravindra Kumar, Director Admission Rajiv Singh, Head of Sports Committee, Prof.
Sadanand Petkar, all teachers and non-teaching staff, students attended the ceremony
PCMC Corporator Shri. Rahul Kalate was invited as the chief guest. In his speech, he mentioned that sports have a very important place in the lives of students. He also emphasized that the tradition of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj should be taken to every corner of the world.
Participation and Sports Categories
The competition included four major sports namely chess, 4×100 relay, volleyball and the most popular cricket.
More than 500 students from more than 40 colleges in Pune and Pimpri- Chinchwad area participated. The participation of more than 45 teams made this competition a grand affair.

More than 50 volunteer students as well as teaching and non-teaching staff contributed immensely to the successful organization of this competition.
